Sports play a pivotal role in the make-up of a young athlete. It help students to learn values like discipline, responsibility, self-confidence, sacrifice and accountability.
At NRI GDA, we believe that sports help students to discover their hidden talents, help them to make interaction with different people and learning at different multitudes beyond their own environment.
Being a student, one gets tired of daily routine hectic work and fedinitely requires ‘Recreation’, which can be attained in the best possible way through sports. A student excelling in sports will shine in his / her academic career as well. Since it keeps you mentally & physically fit.
Team participation in sports increases confidence, risk taking and the ability to perform in healthy competition among the students.

The school has well trained coaches and teachers to impart proper coaching to the students. Our endeavor is to ensure that children make rapid progress in learning the game so that they can graduate from the intermediate stage to the advanced stage in the shortest possible time. We also conduct advance coaching camps in different games and sports during summer, summer and winter breaks. The various programs for games and sports activities are organized throughout the year to train students in the following areas –

We will focus both on sports coaching and physical education. Often in Physical Education and Sports Coaching, the activities are the same but the purpose of engaging in them is different. Simplistically, the PE teacher seeks to develop the psychomotor, affective and cognitive domains of the pupil in a range of activities – emphasizing their intrinsic educational value whereas the Sports Coach aims to maximize the performance in a specific activity.
The basic function of our coaches is to educate students through participation in education-based competition and the inter-scholastic programs are designed to improve academic success and do not interfere with opportunities for academic accomplishments.

Yoga help children to see the beauty and light within themselves, thereby boosting their self-confidence and allowing them to feel more comfortable with their bodies. A child who learns yoga, mindfulness and relaxation develops essential skills for a lifetime.
