Krishna Janmashtami

Krishna Janmashtami celebrated with great enthusiasm and devotion, bringing mothers and children together to celebrate the beautiful bond of love between Yashoda and Krishna.

The programme began with a Maha Aarti, seeking the blessings of Lord Krishna and setting a divine and auspicious tone for the celebration.

This was followed by the grand entry of Radha, Krishna and Yashoda, as mothers and children arrived in beautiful traditional attire, creating a vibrant and festive atmosphere. The Radha-Krishna-themed dance performances added grace and joy to the celebration, with mothers and children showcasing their talent together.

The Mother–Child Ramp Walk was one of the major highlights, as mothers and their wards confidently walked the ramp in beautiful Krishna and Radha-inspired costumes, reflecting their love and togetherness.

The celebration also featured exciting activities such as the Krishna’s Flute Game, Memory Game and Dress-Up Relay, which filled the event with fun, laughter and enthusiasm. The one-line dialogue activity was another delightful moment, with mothers and children presenting cute Krishna-themed dialogues together.

Prizes were presented in various categories, including Best Krishna/Radha Dress, Best Dance Performance, Best Dialogue, Best Ramp Walk, Best Mother–Child Bond, Most Creative Costume and Best Overall Performance.

The celebration concluded with an energetic Janmashtami group dance, followed by the joyous chant, “Hathi Ghoda Palki, Jai Kanhaiya Lal Ki!” and prize distribution.

It was a memorable celebration filled with devotion, love, laughter and togetherness, beautifully capturing the essence of the eternal bond between Yashoda and Krishna.
