Methodology & Learning
“WHEN I GROW UP, I WANT TO BE ME!”
The curriculum and methodology of learning at NRIGDS are responsive and relevant to the developmental needs and interests of learners at different stages of their development. Our curricular framework is well aligned with NEP 2020. It is guided by a 5+3+3+4 design, consisting of the Foundational Stage in the following manner.
- 3 years of pre-school + 2 years in primary in Grades 1-2
- 3 Years of Preparatory Stage in Grades 3-5
- 3 Years of Middle Stage in Grades 6-8
- 4 Years of Secondary Stage in Grades 9 -12
TEACHING METHODOLOGY
Keeping child-centric education in mind, NRI Global Discovery School has a clear focus on providing a learning environment that is both interactive and experiential. At NRIGD the teaching methodology is a diverse mix of the most recent innovations. We believe that a single approach does not meet the requirements of all children. Our pedagogy allows us to select the best combination of approaches according to the learning styles and needs of the students.
NURSERY TO GRADE 2
The school follows Assessment and Evaluation system for Nursery to Grade 2. There are four comprehensive assessments and two major evaluations in the entire academic calendar.
GRADE 3 to GRADE 8
The school follows the CBSE system of Periodic Assessment and Term Examination. The school also work on Co- Scholastic area for the assessment.
GRADE 9 TO GRADE 12
These classes follow the CBSE curriculum and the system.
Portfolios for students of grade 9 and 10 is made and recorded.
